are the members of the Presidential Guard a ceremonial unit that guards the Greek Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Presidential Mansion in Athens.<\/div>\n<div>An Evzone is also known, colloquially, as a Tsoli\u00e1s. Evzones are known for their distinctive uniform, which evolved from the clothes worn by the klephts who fought the Ottoman occupation of Greece.<\/div>\n<div>The most visible item of this uniform is the fustanella, a kilt-like garment.<\/div>\n<p>Their distinctive dress turned them into a popular image for the Greek soldier, especially among foreigners.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t\t<div id=\"tab-francais\" data-tab-icon=\"\" class=\"wpb_tab ui-tabs-panel wpb_ui-tabs-hide clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t<p>Les Evzones \u00e9taient une unit\u00e9 historique d&#8217;infanterie l\u00e9g\u00e8re d&#8217;\u00e9lite et de montagne de l&#8217;arm\u00e9e grecque.<\/p>\n<div>Aujourd&#8217;hui, ils sont membres de la Garde pr\u00e9sidentielle, une unit\u00e9 de c\u00e9r\u00e9monie qui garde la tombe grecque du soldat inconnu et le palais pr\u00e9sidentiel \u00e0 Ath\u00e8nes.<\/div>\n<div>Evzonas est \u00e9galement connu sous le nom de Tsolias.
